Coaching with TBM
Coaching with The Birkman Method is like having a detailed cheatsheet of who an individual is and what makes them tick. Instead of relying on how well an individual is able to understand (let alone accurately describe and articulate) their own motives, behaviours and challenges, Birkman provides the individual with a mirror in which to observe the complex dynamics at play in their everyday lives, both at work and at home, in moments of calm and times of pressure.
The same individual is present in each context, but - like flicking switches on a circuitboard - different situations trigger specific (and ultimately predictable) responses. Cost: $5000 USD equivalent (plus local taxes where applicable)
Same pricing applies for both Virtual and In-Person Programmes.
What's included:
Your own Birkman Signature Report plus ~1 hour conversation with one of our facilitators
Online Prep Course to be completed prior to Certification dates. (About 4 hours of content)
Approx 20 hours of Live Training (either In-Person or Virtual Certification), including teaching, class discussions and practice activities with other participants
2 free Birkman questionnaires and Signature Reports for the purpose of practice conversations post-Certification
An additional 2 hours of Live Training in the form of a Re-connect session approx 4 weeks after Certification (via Zoom)

Process
Once you complete registration for Certification we'll send you a schedule with all the stages of the programme, and get you set up with your own Birkman Questionnaire and Report if you haven't already completed Birkman.

Live Training
Launch
As part of the course, you'll have a one-hour conversation about your own report, with one of our programme facilitators, 3 weeks before the Live Training. This will help familiarise (or refresh!) you on the data and what your report says about you.
You'll then be enrolled in the Birkman Method Certification Prep Course, and will have 2 weeks to work through the online content (this usually takes around 4 hours).
If you're enrolled in Virtual Certification the Live Training will take place over 5 days, with 2 Zoom sessions each day, of 2.5 hours each (total of 5 hours a day). If you're enrolled in In-Person Certification, the Live Training will take place over 3 days, usually running from 9am-5pm each day.
Once the Live Training stage is complete you will be a fully-fledged Birkman Certified Professional! We'll help you set up an account (if applicable), and you can get started sending questionnaires and running reports. To ensure that you get the best start, we continue to provide support, starting with a bonus Re-connect session ~4 weeks after the Live Training. This is an opportunity to gather the class back together (virtually) and share some additional tips and guidance, as well as hear how your first coaching sessions have gone!
On completion of this programme you will be equipped with a clear understanding of The Birkman Method framework and data, and the ability to explain and interpret the Birkman Map, Interests and Component scoring patterns.
You'll be able to:
understand how these scores apply to individuals across their work/social/home contexts and in their relationships with others.
analyse how 2 individual's scores will interact and the areas most likely to cause friction or frustration between them.
deliver a competent interpretation & coaching conversation using the Signature Report.
